If consulting a nutritionist, be aware that this title is not protected and can be used by anyone. The person you are seeing could be a fully qualified and competent practitioner or could be someone with minimal knowledge of nutrition. Ask what the letters after their name mean and where the qualifications were gained, are they from a reputable college or university? What is their experience and what fields have they worked in previously? Your long term health and nutritional well being are too precious to be put at risk by poorly qualified practitioners.
